A good workspace starts with a clearly named connection. vhatsapp supports QR connections alongside a separate Business API setup, so your team can choose the connection that fits its workflow.

1. Open your connections

Sign in to vhatsapp. In the admin menu, choose Connect WhatsApp / QR. User accounts can open their Devices area. Add a connection and give it a name that your team can recognise.

2. Link the phone

Generate the connection QR code. On the phone, open WhatsApp, go to Linked Devices and choose Link a Device. Scan the code shown in your workspace. Treat a pairing QR code like a temporary credential: do not share it publicly.

3. Check the connection

Wait for the connection status to update before starting a campaign. If the QR code expires, generate a fresh one. If pairing fails, check the phone connection and try again from the device screen.

4. Keep your devices organised

  • Use a separate connection name for each phone or business number.
  • Check your plan's device allowance before adding more connections.
  • Disconnect a number from the workspace when your team no longer needs it.
  • Keep access to your workspace limited to the people who manage that number.

QR pairing links the phone account. It does not configure a Meta Business API account. If you need the API connection too, use the separate Business API area.
